I've tried to find some documentation to show that Dracula has been banned, but could not find anything on the Internet, including eNotes.  I may be overlooking something, of course, and so I would say that it is possible it has been banned at some point in time by someone.  If I were to venture a guess, I would say that the sexual undertones of the book may have been the reason, but again, I could not find anything to support that premise.

If this book is banned, it is most likely due to the repressed sexuality of the Victorian culture during which this book made its appearance.  It is quite the erotic read, and in Victorian terms, it would've been like being intimate with your clothes on...very shocking, indeed!
