[originally posted by masterchris39 in the Q&A section] I need to do a project about Dracula, but I can't figure out what to do. Do you have any suggestions? I was thinking about something dealing with Renfield's obsession with the consumption of life, the good and evil in Mina, or the nightmare/dream aspect of the three weird sisters. You can check the following link for ideas from eNotes: http://www.enotes.com/dracula/topics-further-s tudy Also, the concept of verisimilitude, or the use of supposedly real items for promoting the narrative storyline of the work (diaries, newspaper articles, telegrams, letters, etc.), might make an interesting project. Maybe you could make your own items, like torn out, old-fashioned-looking diary entries, newspaper articles, letters, obituaries, etc., from the book to display, as well as write a report examining the use of this literary technique in Dracula and other works of literature. Good luck! Posted by malibrarian on Nov 26, 2007. |
